What we collect
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, organisation name, and the message you send. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
If you subscribe to updates — via the newsletter sign-up on our About page or our Substack — we collect your email address solely to send you those updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
How we use it
We use contact form submissions to respond to project enquiries. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.
Data storage & Processing
Form submissions are securely processed by Web3Forms. Web3Forms' privacy policy applies to data handled through their infrastructure.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep contact form enquiries only for as long as needed to respond to you and handle any related follow-up, then delete them. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email us at data@datapond.earth and we'll action the request within a reasonable time.
Because submissions are relayed through Web3Forms' infrastructure (see "Data storage & Processing" above), a copy also exists there for the duration set by their own retention policy — deleting our copy does not delete theirs.
Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time, which removes you from future mailings and any associated subscriber list.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Umami to collect aggregated, anonymous data about website traffic. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our site without tracking individual users.
